John has provided sophisticated legal counsel to a diverse clientele spanning from emerging companies to Fortune 500 public corporations.
John has an impressive track record in large M&A transactions, having represented sellers and buyers in deals valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars. Notable transactions include representing the sole owner of a medical education company in a $140 million sale of 75% equity to a private equity-backed entity and facilitating a public software technology company’s merger with a multinational technology corporation. John’s expertise extends to complex financing arrangements and real estate acquisitions, including leading and structuring the acquisition of a large real estate portfolio containing 32 office buildings.
John previously served as Partner at an AmLaw 200 firm where he chaired the Corporate Practice Group. John’s government experience includes serving as a Staff Attorney in the Division of Enforcement at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, providing him with invaluable insight into regulatory compliance and securities matters.
John earned his J.D. from Temple University School of Law and his B.A. in History from Villanova University.
